When setting up my mortgage and protection business, I wanted to ensure that I was able to incorporate my biggest passion in life, rescue dogs. My company logo is based on my own rescue dog, Bea. She came from Cyprus, originally as a foster dog, but she never left and I’d be completely lost without her.

I’ve always loved my role as a mortgage and protection adviser but I wanted to find even more purpose in what I was doing day to day. With different dog charities, I've been fortunate enough to be able to volunteer overseas in Romania, foster over 10 dogs, volunteer as a home checker and raise funds in a variety of different ways, such as sponsored walks, 4 marathons and a bake sale but I constantly felt that it wasn’t enough.

When setting up my business, I decided that 10% of my broker fee would go towards dog charities around the world to ensure that dogs found new homes, as well as the clients that I help. And let’s face it, is a house even a home without a dog?
